Progress at Pooley Bike Park – Building Something Special Together
One of the projects we’re most proud of is our ongoing work at Pooley Bike Park. What started as an idea to create a safe, fun and progressive riding space for the local community is gradually becoming a reality thanks to the incredible support of volunteers, donors and partner organisations.
Over recent months, volunteers have given up their evenings and weekends to help shape trails, move materials, improve drainage and develop features that will benefit riders of all ages and abilities. Their dedication, enthusiasm and willingness to get stuck in have been the driving force behind the project’s progress.
Donations have also played a vital role. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps us purchase materials, tools and equipment needed to continue developing the site. From timber and aggregates to signage and maintenance equipment, funding allows us to turn ideas into real improvements on the ground.
Projects like Pooley Bike Park simply wouldn’t happen without community support. Volunteer time is incredibly valuable, but materials and resources still come at a cost. Funding enables us to maintain momentum, improve facilities safely and create a space that can be enjoyed by the wider community for years to come.
We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who has volunteered their time, donated resources or supported the project in any way. Together, we’re creating more than just trails, we’re building opportunities for people to get active, learn new skills, connect with others and enjoy the outdoors.
The journey is far from over, and we’re excited to continue developing Pooley Bike Park with the support of our amazing community.
