Our community impact
Discover how Community Ride Project CIC is making a real difference. From building confidence to strengthening community bonds, we're pedalling towards a healthier, happier Staffordshire.

Connecting communities through cycling
One of our most exciting achievements has been bringing people together through mountain biking who may never have otherwise connected. From helping young riders build confidence and skills, to creating inclusive social rides that improve physical and mental wellbeing, we’ve used cycling as a tool to strengthen community connections. We’ve also supported local trail development projects, creating safe, sustainable spaces for people of all ages to enjoy the outdoors together.

Voices from our community
“I was nervous about riding with others, but everyone was so welcoming and supportive. I left feeling more confident, made new friends and couldn’t wait to ride again.” – James S - Participant

Our achievements so far
Since launching, we’ve supported local riders through community rides, trail-building projects and skills sessions. We’ve engaged volunteers in improving local trail networks, created opportunities for people of all ages to ride together, and continue to grow a welcoming cycling community that promotes physical activity, wellbeing and social connection.
Our vision for the future
Our goal is to make cycling accessible to everyone, regardless of age, ability or background. We want to expand our community rides, support more young people, improve local trail facilities, train volunteers and remove barriers that prevent people from getting involved. Ultimately, we hope to create healthier, happier and more connected communities through cycling and the outdoors.
